Raised Ink vs Laser for Invites

Raised Ink vs Laser for Invites

I am not sure what Iam going to do. Sometimes I feel that raised ink is more elegant but at times I think why not just say the money and use laser!

I know majority on here get invites from Tessa but you know of anysites with really nice wedding invites with raised ink that wont break the bank??
I love the pocketfold invites!
thanks

I felt the same way, loved Tessa's uniquness but felt it looks like I could have done it because it didn't have the raised ink

very affordable raised printed invites. THey do the printing directly on site. no middlemen, commission, tax (if you pay cash), etc.

She was $700 cheaper than others I priced.

It really depends on what the invite looks like. I dont think there is that much of a difference between raised and laser ink (I mean seriously, how many people who receive the invites think of those details?). But depending on the invite, one or the other might look weird.

I just stuffed invited with my sister last night. Almost everything was raised ink, except for the mailing address on the envelope because she really couldn't afford it.

Honestly, I think the laser looked perfectly fine, even though the return address cards were raised ink.

If you can find the raised ink for a comparable price, go for it if it is something you really want.

But otherwise, think about how else you can use the money you saved. Another day on honeymoon?

Honestly i love letterpress but if you dont want to spend that then definitely raised its just more elegant. You're only doing this once & its not much more money then laser. It also looks prettier. JMO

We too are using Judi from A Bridal Paperie. She is SO sweet, accommodating, reasonable, etc. For custom invitations with all raised printing, even on the mailing address of the response cards, and all return addresses, etc. She is great.
