Rando phone call ...
Hi girls .. hope you all had a great weekend!
So I got this rando call yesterday saying that FH and I had 'won' ... that our names were picked and she said it was probably from a showcase or something similar we registered for.
Basically there were 3 prizes:
- choice of 2 wedding banks OR we could take a 3 day/2 night trip to any of 50 locations (not a timeshare)
- $1000 worth of grocery coupons
- 20-40 percent off these houseware products
The only 'catch' seemed like we needed to go view the houseware products Tuesday night at the Sheraton in Plainview, fill out a survey, etc. but with no obligation to buy .. but it was a 2-hour process and both FH and I needed to attend.
Even if we were curious enough to go, it wasn't going to work for us since FH is back In Toronto until the 21st .. but I was curious to see if anyone else received a similar call?
