My DJ tells me he needs at least 2 hours prior to the reception to set up. He wants me to talk to my RH about getting access to my room ASAP. Is this something I should even be involved in or should he be dealing with the RH on timing??? Theres a party in my room prior to my wedding and the RH says he can only have an hour to set up so now theres a timing issue. Anyone else have to deal with something like this?

Re: Random DJ question
I had this question asked by my DJ too but my room is not being used so my DJ can come early. since your room is being used, what your DJ will then suggest is he will have to hire or bring more people to help set up in only an hour that they have..... there's always a solution to these problems & 99% of the time they cost money! don't worry - it will probably won't cost too much! check asap with your DJ.

don't forget that he can set up during the CH so he should have plenty of time. I'm sure he has run into this before so it shouldn't be a problem

IMO this is something he should work out with the MatreD at the RH , you shouldn't have to figure it out.
