ok yep...I'm creating all sorts of threads bc I'm BORED. It's Friday, and I don't wanna work!
FH and I want to get married in Oct. We'll prob book 10/2/11. It's open at our venue. Yeah yeah, I know, I'm stalling but anyway...
We're huge Halloween fans and so I want to incorporate a few Fall touches. Everyone HATES all these ideas.
Monogrammed pumpkins...I'd do it myself with a dremel and the foam pumpkins I always buy at Michael's. I saw it on one of those real wedding sites and loved the idea. Not necessarily THIS one, but maybe a scrolly 'P' for our last name.

I'm having a fall theme wedding and FH loves Halloween. I'm doing the carved pumpkin and the mini pumpkin cardholder are actually one of my top two ides for place cards. Many ideass I have my family and friends don't like, but I'm starting not to care about their opinions. They have very diffeent taste from me and, like you, I want my wedding to relfect FH and me not my friends.
if I perfect my dremel carving skills before your wedding, I'll carve yours! lol

That would be great because I have never carved a pumpkin. I am planning on doing a lot of DIY projects. I'm soooo glad I have time to practice and perfect them. You should definitely do it. It's beautiful and unique
do them in foam not real. I have tons of them at home from michael's. My basement is full of halloween stuff.
I'm buying a carving tool to make halloween decorations and i realized bi could do the monograms. I'm going to make a few of them and scatter them throughout the hall.

I think ALL of the ideas you posted would be amazing for your wedding. Love the carved pumpkin, the glow those will give off!!!

I never thought about foam, thats a good idea. I can make them way in advance. I'm also thinking about using carved pumpkins with numbers as our table numbers. This would be a lot easier with foam pumpkins.

yep and they come in different sizes ans michaels always has coupons :)
