Random Phonecalls from Vendors...

...are REALLY annoying! I don't care about e-mails because I can just delete them, but the phone calls are another story.

...This is vendors that I'm not booked with but have gotten my number.

IT'S THE WORST!

my answering machine is FULL of calls from vendors.. i must get at least 5 calls a day!

ITA i get a lot of calls and emails as well i hate when i have vm's it makes me nuts lol

I'm lucky, I don't get the calls that much but when i do they always have the date totally wrong and think I'm getting married in 2013.

That's what I do also, I tell them no thank you, but when they leave voicemails that annoys me. I hate voicemails to begin with!

Make sure you don't have your number in your LIW account. I made sure not to do that, and erased my address bc I kept getting pamplets mailed home.

I used to get them from these 2 vendors that were driving me nuts.

lol then I told them off because it was getting to be harassment when I'd get at least 3-4 calls per day.

thank god mine have pretty much stopped. i still get random ones here and there which are kind of annoying.

the emails though - i HATE them! they clog up my inbox every day

OMG I know!

I keep getting calls from a specific DJ on here that I know for a fact doesn't have availability for my day, but still continues to call even though I tell them there already all booked up. And when I tell them I already booked, they hassle me to find out who

It's extremely unprofessional IMO

yeah this happens all the time to us, and after only booking RH (which was booked in July) and meeting with 1 vendor (their house DJ) all sorts of telemarketers started calling FH's cell phone, obvil, the DJ makes money by selling our info Reason #784 why we decided not to book with him.

and then when you tell them you are already booked with a vendor in that area, they act shocked and snobby- drives me crazy!!!!!!

This happened to me all the time too. Especially with one vendor who makes custom, overpriced, wedding bands. I freaked out on them and told them that I had asked to be taken off their list every time they call me. Of course I got another apology, but they haven't called again since.
