That happened to me too! It turned out that my old doctor (who had written my prescription) was not in my new insurance plan's network and so it wasn't covered. I had to go to an in network doctor just to get her to write the prescription and now I am charged 30 dollars instead of 58...
I'm not sure if you are in the same boat, but you might want to call your insurance company to find otu.

i called my doctor and she said to find out from my pharmacist if they have a generic brand...i dont know if thats good though?

Im sure the generic version is fine....
Also, if you go to planned parenthood, they charge for the pill on a sliding scale depending on how much you make, but you will never pay more than 20 bucks...
