Random Sleep Question..

Random Sleep Question..

Can you sleep with light in the room? meaning...if your blinds/verticals were open and sunlight poured in during the morning, would it bother you? does the tv bother you? do flashing lights on a stereo system or clock bother you?

I ask cuz John can sleep through anything but the slightest light (besides the tv) bothers me. if there is a light blinking on the ocmputer i have to turn it off to sleep. sometimes my verticles get stuck on the window frame and a sliver of light shines in and it bothers me and i cant sleep with it like that...he thinks im weird lol

I am the lightest sleeper. Any little noise or light wakes me up. FH can sleep thru a bomb if it went off in the room, no noise or light bothers him at all. it gets me so mad cause I wish I could sleep like that!

I can sleep through anything. My city apt always let the light in and the occasional siren wouldn't faze me either.

FH on the other hand... his bedroom was in the basement apt at his mom's house for years! He is so used to sleeping in pitch black any light drives him crazy!

my fh can sleep through anything as well....i can sleep with the tv and actually prefer too...but any other light bothers me. I also have weird things like i can't sleep if the bedroom door is open...it has to be shut. I wake up to any little noises...it drives me nuts that fh can sleep no matter what and i have such trouble sleeping!!

I am an extremely light sleeper....can't have the tv on, the lights on, or even hear people in another part of the house (it *****...I wish my body wasnt so an*l about it lol). But, I can sleep if sunlight is coming in to the room....go figure!

No, I need it to be dark also - sometimes my neighbors flood light points in if it gets set off by an animal or something and its so annoying. My FH is same as John tho - the lights and stuff don't bother him...

I have to fall asleep with the tv on but if I wake up in the middle of the night I have to turn it off. Any other noise or light besides the tv drives me crazy for some reason. FH can sleep anywhere in any condition. Nothing bothers him.

I am the opposite, I fall asleep better with the tv on, for some reason it just puts me out. I can pretty much fall asleep anywhere, its weird. But then little noises will wake me up.

i actually can't fall asleep unless the tv is on. FH usually sets it on timer and I wake up as soon as it shuts off and turn it back on. i can't stand the sunlight though.

Im a really light sleeper. I get up from any noise. If a blind lets some light in.. I have to go fix it also. I wish I could be a different sleeper!

If the blinds are open and the sun is shinning, I usually wake up.

I can fall asleep if the lights are on, I've fallen asleep a number of times with my lights on and the computer or tv still on. I'm not really a light sleeper, but if there is a lot of noise around me I will not be able to sleep properly.

I don't think you're weird.

I fall asleep with the tv on but i always set the sleep timer on it and i'm a heavy sleeper so hardly anything wakes me up, but just about everything wakes FH up

I can sleep through anything the light the tv it doesn't bother me. I have more problems sleeping when it is dark and quiet. My FH on the other hand needs it to be pitch black no light anywhere and perfectly quite!!! haha I always have to go to sleep before him or else I can't sleep!!!

If I'm tired enough, I can fall asleep with the lights on and the TV blasting. My favorite thing to do is to fall asleep as I'm watching TV: it's seriously the most peaceful sleep I ever get.

im STRANGE lol. i need to sleep with the light and tv on. but if im in the bedroom with my computer, i have to have the blinds closed, door closed. ever since i could remember, any room i am in, the door HAS to be closed. i hate hearing any noise that comes from a room other than the 1 im in.

I love pitch blackness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sometimes FH goes to bed after me and leaves the TV on. If I wake up and it's on I need to shut it off within a minute so I can go back to sleep...if it takes me longer than that to find the remote or I have to get out of bed, I'm up for hours!!
