ETA: Just wondering cause FH are now deciding if we want to buy a house now or wait for the other house issue to be resolved and live in an apartment/townhouse.

at this moment we technically live with FH's grandfather's illegal 1 BR in Queens...but I can't take much more. His bro (see FBIL is an idiot) is likely moving out at the end of the summer so there will be more room for us...yes, we will likely move back in there b/c my daughter starts school and we need AND want her to attend a LI school. Honestly, I'd rather pack it all up and move somewhere affordable than bother with trying the whole LI thing at all!

We live in an apartment in California.
We are not going to look for a house until we decide to move back to NY. Which should (hopefully) be next year.
I also own a 2 bedroom apt in NY and I rent that out while I am here.

apartment- we want to move to florida- so we aren't buying a house here- were waiting
besides that - for what we pay in rent- a mortgage payment would be double at least- and we love our apartment

I've been renting for 7 years--I feel very behind. We are hoping to buy a co-op this fall & even that's a stretch. I' dont tink we will ever buy a house if we stay in Westcester.

we rent a 1 bedroom. its cute but small, we love it anyway though...and we'll most likely be here for at least 2 years (already been 10 months)
