Random thing someone said to me today!

Some people are just so rude... they have no idea how to be tactful.

Its different than saying..have you lost weight?? Which even that makes me feel so uncomfortable...because its like saying 'you needed to lose weight!'

Now someone said something similar to me today, but in a tasteful way. She is a teacher aide, and she comes up to me and whispers 'Are you on a diet?' and I said 'yes' and she goes, 'I was wondering, because you can really notice the difference the last few weeks.'

Now I think that was nicely done, she did it privatly, and complimented me, totally different that your tasteless person!

I am eating in the faculty room today and this lady was like 'So how is your weight loss going' now she was nice about it but the thing is I have never discussed this with her or really with anyone that I work with! I dont really like talking about it at work because then people scrutinize what your eating and I am sensitive about it....I was stunned so I was just like oh I am trying and she said yes I can see that! What is that supposed to me??

Very sensitive.

Don't take it personally, she prob noticed tath you lost weight and wanted to pay you a compliment but did not know how to approach the subject....social misfits are everywhere.

Ignore it and keep up the good work!!!
