RAndom TY question....

RAndom TY question....

for money gifts, did you include the amount the person gave you in your TY?
we went to a wedding in october, and got the TY the other day... it said 'thank you for the $XXX check- we really apprecite it... blah blah'

i just thought it looked weird to have the amount in there- i didn't do it for ours, but i'm just wondering if anybody else did or plans to....

I don't think you should put the amount. Perhaps just 'TY for your generous gift...'

yeah, thats what i thought, too!! just seemed really weird... i was just wondering if it was just me.... although this is the same bride that gave each of her bridesmaids a color ribbon and told them to find a dress in that color... so they were in all different colors AND different dresses... i don't mind one or the other being different- but BOTH? ... looked a little tacky....
