RANT-1 couple back- 1 more 2 go

So one of our groomsmen and on my my BM's who i have been friends with for ever are both in serious relationships (more so Julie my BM then the GM)

John (GM) is dating my friend Shannon (same name as me) they met threw FH and I about a year and a half ago. FH (steve) said there is no way they are getting engaged all they do is fight though Shannon though the vacation they went on this week they defiantly were getting engaged!! well they are back and they didn't I am kinda glad for 2 reasons- 1 They went to puerto vallarta where we got engaged and stayed were we got engaged and 2- I feel like they are the type to try to rush and get married in March next year and say thats what they always wanted non the less the aren't wooo

Julie is going away tomorrow- They might get engaged too- I think it would be nice - we've been friends since we were 4! It would cool to plan with her though she would prob. be a bridezilla- the only thing that would totally stink for the BM b/c we would both have 5 of the same people!! ahhhh

Anyway not wedding related at all but have just been waiting to see how these 2 weeks played out. I don't think FH and I could afford to be in someone elses weddng right now- He would def be in the GM John if they got engaged and I would be in both!!!

I think being in someone else's bridal party is an incredibly humbling experience. It makes you realize that everything is not about you. It can also be really difficult to share the spotlight. It's not easy.I'm struggling with it right now.

I hear that! I'm in three weddings in the next two months and attending four! Ahh help me! And there is drama attached to all four at somepoint

Imean it wil be great-- just financially it would be crazy- paying for school, wedding, and a wedding party-

Since I'm the only one out of me and FH's group of couples were friends with, who are getting married, I think it would be fun to be able to be in our friend's BP. I know they're having a great time helping me, and planning theirs in the process. Financially it would be tough, but I would make things work if need be.

I'm just waiting to get the call that one of them are engaged, bc when I first got engaged, ALL of the girls turned to their boyfriends and were like ' where's my ringgggg?' Considering even though we've been together for 3 years, they have all been with their partners longer with the exception of one couple.

I'm assuming since they all are in our BP, and chances are will have the same people in theirs, that they will wait until after we're married for financial reasons. Would be nice though having a real planning partner though. But then again, I do like being the only one in the spotlight
