RANT about my invites vendor - sorry sort of long
I am not going to say the vendors name for now, so don't ask....
FH and I ordered our STDs and invites thru our vendor. We already got the STDs, the price was good, etc. We sat down with the vendor a week or so ago to finish up the invite wording, etc. she had already gotten in a sample of the paper from the invite company too. So we spent a really long time going over the wording, the A and B list response cards, all that stuff. The price came out to just under $400 for everything. Today we got an email letting us know that she was looking at an old book with old prices, and the company was going to charge more for the paper, the invite style which they discontinued (why didn't she know this already? she is the invite person!), and the response cards. She orders tons of invites every week, how could she not know this stuff already? It upped the price to $600!!! FH and I feel like she may have known, but told us the old price so we would put down the deposit. I told her not to order anything, and I think we may be asking for our deposit back. So annoying, because we spent HOURS figuring out the invitation, and the invite wording, etc.
