OK sorry for the rant, but IDK how some people have such big you know whats!!!
Someone, who has mutual friends with FH, but they were never close, posted on my facebook, saying omg I can't believe you guys got engaged, congrats, keep me updated on when the date is!!!
We were never planning on inviting him!! In fact, FH made a point to say he never really liked him much. They literally have never hung out, aside from being in the same places with the group of friends.
W*T*F???? I would NEVER assume Im invited to someones wedding unless I knew for 100% sure!
Have you girls experienced this? What do i do???

Delete and Block that person!!!! Don't stress over it too much. You should only have the people you want there not the ones that invite themselves!!!

I have had this happen. I would just ignore the comment and not respond.
Whenever it is said in person I just try to change the subject and if they do not take the hint and let the topic change I usually say something like I can already tell the guest list is going to be so hard because although I would love to invite everyone I can't.
If they do not take theat hint.... then screw them! lol

I've also had friends who said to me 'I BETTER be invited your your batchlorette party' umm thats rude who says that?? I just say that thats not up to me so i have no idea what's going on with it.

Gotta love people who just invite themselves.
I agree with Mara.. I usually try to ignore it and/or change the subject... or I say something like oh im having a fairly small wedding and hope they get the hint

If all else fails tell this guy he can't come because you're secretly in love with him and he might ruin the wedding!!!

hahahha dont answer!!! we had someone come up with us and say im mad i wasnt invited to the engag party... thankfully my FH was drunk and was like oh sorry man i completely forgot -- blahh blahh blahh.. i was standing behind him talkng to my friend saying *** is he crazyyy? hes annoying, didnt congrat. us and we dont ever talk to him. what balls

Yes. People come out of the woodworks when they find out there is a wedding!!! I say ignore the comment on FB. If someone says something to your face just uses Mara's advice above. That is what I have been doing and it seems to work. Honestly I feel bad, but once these people get married they will understand how tough the guest list is!

Ugh, I've been having this happen a lot...and my guest list is already at 265, so the people that aren't invited but think they are are obviously delusional. I have a friend from HS who I haven't seen or spoken to (even on fb!) in over two years, but our moms are still friends. She also moved out of the country over two years ago. Her mom says to my mom, that she's hoping to be back in the country in time for the wedding!! Are they serious??

Ignore! We are having a smaller wedding 110ppl, 120 max, so we are really limited but it's kind of better. Seriously, people are ridiculous. I was just writing on another post about this.
If that person would make either of us uncomfortable, then they are not invited. We have this one friend and we know his wife, and he's sleeping around with other girls and NONE of them are invited to our wedding. He obviously doesn't respect marriage and I don't want the drama. People can go screw themselves and their nastiness!
