RAVE!!!!!

You girls should know this.

Bridal Elegance in Huntington/Dix Hills is AMAZING.

I ordered my gown from Bridal Reflections in Carle Place. I found the BM gown I love there, but it is $210 plus up to $95 for alterations (and my girls will get 10% off since I got my gown there, but that’s basically tax, let’s be honest LOL). So I went on a mad goose chase to find the lowest price possible. I literally called every bridal salon on Long Island/Queens and Bridal Elegance in Dix Hills told me that because I have 9 girls and if they all pay in full, she can do $158 for that same $210 gown! And alterations are capped at $60-75 I think (can’t remember now).

It was the lowest price I got from ANY of the stores BY FAR.

I’m sooooooo happy! Now I just have to round my girls up

Re: RAVE!!!!!

I ordered my BM dresses from Bridal Elegance also because they were the cheapest, and got pretty decent reviews. BUT WARNING!! I went with my bridesmaids to order the dresses in July and they were supposed to come in for Sept ( I wanted to get the dresses done early because 4 out of 5 of my BMs live out of state). I called last week to check on the status of the order- they called the manufacturer and got back to me 2 days later. The woman didn't say they forgot to order the dresses but said the manufacturer was 'backed up' and that they will be in by April. Really, they are so backed up that it is going to take an additional 7 months to get my BM dresses?? I'm glad to say I just said ok and didn't freak out but I wish they were honest with me and had just told me they forgot to order them. I am going to the store soon again to get something in writing showing that they were finally ordered. Just wanted to give you a heads up to call and check your order :)

Update on my post: Because I called to check on the dresses and they were not ordered, they rushed the order and the dresses will be here next month, much sooner than expected! :)

Re: RAVE!!!!!

I ordered my gown from them after finding it @ Rk Bridal in the city. Since I'm not a city gir, going back and forth was going to hard. So I called around and they gave me my gown for $60 less but they're alterations cap for the gown was anout $50 higher than in the city. So I basically cut even but they were very helpful when ordering the gown,

Only issue was when my gown came in around June, they called as soon as it came it. I went to the store tried the gown on and was happy with it. Upon leaving the store though, the attendant we were working with stated that the full balance of the gown was due! But on my receipt it states that the gown has to be paid in full before alterations can begin. I also remember asking someone @ the store when the gown would have to be paid off and they stated before alterations. My Mother(since she is the one paying for the gown) said to h ell with that, they will get they're money as stated on the receipt.......before alterations.) My Mom was kinda pissed off because the gown is 75% paid off anyway, when my Mother left the deposit with them.

Other than that incident, they are very friendly and helpful. So we will see how things work out with them...
