RC Church vent: The 'Together for Life' readings leave me uninspired

I'm going to ask our priest if I can look for other readings or if he can suggest other readings. I feel very little for the readings suggested in 'Together for Life' and most of them are so sexist. I was kind of surprised by the choices b/c I know there are beautiful bible readings but with the exception of the 'love is patient, love is kind' and the beatitudes I didn't see any in the book.

I feel the same way. I'm using: A1, B6, C6, D4, E1, F7, H2, I2, J2, K1, L3, M3, N2, O3

you do not have to use the suggested readings from the 'together for life' book. our priest told us that we can chose ANY reading from the old and the new testament. the book is to be used as a guidline.
