we did not make place cards or menus.

but that is because i wanted mine to be informal.

it is easier that way if you do make place cards though, so i would suggest it.

I'm expecting around 75 people at the RD...not doing menus or place cards or anything - want it very informal. It's at home so people can just mingle around!

I think you need placecards or at least a list of people who should sit at each table - its the worst when people just wander around, noone wants to make the decision of where to sit, and it always ends up people getting split up and then everyone needs to move around. You also want to make sure that the people you want next to or near you are the ones that actually are, it would be uncomfortable if you needed to ask someone to move.

I like this idea...I think I am going to just make a list and have someone direct them or soemthing..maybe oraganze the tables by family name and just label them.
