We are looking for a restaurant to have our RD. Out Church is in East Islip so we would like the RD to be anywhere between Babylon and Sayville. Can you please recommend any restaurants in this area? TIA

My sister did a luncheon for her son's baptism at Oysterman's in Sayville. It was really good and had a private room. I don't think they included soft drinks though, but they were easy to negotiate with and through it in when we asked.

If your willing to go to Oakdale I know that there is The Riverview (thats where we are having ours!) and Snapper right near each other!

We planned on having it at Riverview but its a very busy weekend (Labor Day) so they don't do private parties Snapper is a consideration, but only if we can negotiate the price a little bit.

I'm not sure. I had called them about possibly hosting a shower there and they offered different pricing based on different menus (sit down vs. buffet). I don't remember what the pricing was, but as I recall it was fairly reasonable. They gave me pricing info over the phone.

My step brother had his RD at 21 Main in Sayville...it was nice, and they had a private room upstairs with a bar...HTH

I love 21 Main, but I think it's still a little pricey. Cafe Joelle is nice, but a little small I think to have a RD there. Both in Sayville.

Thanks. I haven't checked 21 Main yet but I think they are going to be too expensive. Cafe Joelle looked nice but way too small...we are having close to 40 people at the RD
