RD Help

Ok ladies, i dont post often but i need some help! My FH and I are getting married next May and since his family is from down under, we will be planning the rehersal dinner.

here is my dilemma - My church is in Locust Valley, my reception in babylon and the hotel in Plainview/Hauppague. We are having an ongoing issue on where to have the rehersal - by the church? by the hotel? anywhere we like? its difficult to plan with someone else paying and I want to be courteous to our guests who will almost all be OOT but at the same time i want everyone to have a nice time.

Any help in the location - both town and restaurant suggetsions is welcome. I was trying to find somethign close to Locust Valley/Bayville/Lattingtown/Glen Cove that was around $50 a person with beer and wine.

I'd say have it near either church or the hotel...

I would go near the hotel because after the RD it wil not be a short drive , and except for the BP and parents noone else goes to the church

Yea, I agree. Since his family is not from the area, I'm sure they will like to be close to where they are staying. I can't give restaurant suggestions though, I don't know the area, but good luck!

Thats what i was thinking. Or really close to the church. I think between our families and the bridal party we will have almost 50 so i think everyone at the church will go to dinner. or at least most of them. and those that wouldn't go to church would be staying at home. thats why i'm so conflicted!
