Hi Ladies! I'm trying to look for a RD location in the Farmingdale/Massapequa area. We're getting married at St. Kilians in Farmingdale, and the RD would be on a Friday night. I'm looking for somewhere that as a private room that can accomodate around 45 people. Any help is greatly appreciated! Also, if you've received any quotes you'd like to share, that would be great! TIA!

Re: RD Help (Farmingdale-Massapequa area)
I had my ceremony at Saint Thomas ( right down the block). We did our RD at The Library Cafe. We had the top room to ourselves .. it worked out perfectly! The room was a great size and has a bar in it, and the food and service were wonderful!

I love the Library! FH actually just threw me a surprise party there for my birthday! I'm just worried that the room upstairs is too small for 45 people. How many people did you have?

I actually looked at Palmers and LOVE IT!! But their lowest price pp is $32 without alcohol. Is that a good price? lol. We have 45 people, so I know it's going to add up.

I had 30 people .. You could always call them and ask them what they think about 45! Good luck!

Bulldog & The Library are the same owners - Lessings - can't go wrong with either one

We had our RD at Black Forest Brew Haus. We had the whole back room too. Check this place out too!

What about The Good Life in Massapequa Park? The food is amazing. They don't have a separate room, but they might be able to do something for you

I live in the area and I'm a foodie!
The Bulldog has a great private area and they will probably do better than $32 pp. It is the same owner as Library (Lessings). Bulldog is a regular spot for me, so it will be good. I am thinking of using it myself.
Bellissimo in Amityville is beautiful and I know they will give you a good deal. It's a different vibe, more classic and elegant. than the lessings, the food is very good.
You should also try:
Vittorio's Amityville (but they will likely be more pricey).
BK Sweeney's in Bethpage - very casual, but good pub style food and I bet you will have a good deal.
Hudson's Mill - great food!!
Cafe Tuscan Fusion

That price may be for their sit down dinner, but im not sure. They could have a buffet that would be cheaper? Its worth looking into! GL!!

Wow!! I need to check out all of these places. We moved to Farmingdale about a year ago, and are always looking for new places to go. I've never heard of Hudson's Mill, but it looks so good! Also, I pass Cafe Toscana all the time, but have never tried it! Thanks for the input!
