Can anyone recommend a nice place with really good food in Garden City for my rehearsal dinner.
7th Street Cafe. It's on 7th street (go figure!) right down the block from the GC hotel. EXCELLENT food!!!! And they have a room for large parties. One of the women that I work with had her daughter's RD there and she's still raving about it 6 months later!

I agree, 7th Street Cafe or Davenport Press is very close by but its Mineola.Theres also a new place in Garden city around the corner from 7th Street called Opera and BK Sweeneys Grill is there, too.
