FH and I are still debating our rehearsal dinner....we went to Katie Daly's and I loved it...I'm an Irish gal to a T....we ate at Sergio's and the owner did everything in his power to please us....the food was great but the decor was not my style...we tried the Library Cafe....someone recommended the Bulldog Grille....
basically, here are my issues:
Katie Daly's had a buffet which I think is great since the bridal party has never really met....girls from different parts of my life, guys from different parts of his, etc....
Sergio's is just Italian....I am not the biggest fan though I'll eat it....I think I want more variety....but the price was great...
Library Cafe seemed out of the way from The Riviera and the Marriott....
Any input on the Bulldog Grille? Any other places?
Someone knock some sense into me...I need to pick a place!!!!!!!!!!!

thank you for pointing out my lack of elaboration....FH wasn't crazy about it.....and he thinks the fact that the party room in the basement is bad....

Jackie Reilly's - not in Massapequa - but not far!
We LOVE it & are using them for our RD! Very reasonable & laid back... We had dinner there already before deciding on a RD and the food was WONDERFUL!!!!

We tried out Sidekicks on Park Blvd in Massapequa Park and FMIL suggested the Wantagh Inn on Sunrise Hwy but we haven't checked it out yet.
Is your rehersal at the RIviera? If so, I can ask FMIL what restaurants are around there

Yep, at the riviera....
fh is italian and wants sergio's...i'm irish and want katie daly's...our RD is like a glimpse into our future...haha...

If you want to go irish you can try the Irish Cottage in Massapequa Park. It is also on Park Blvd. That is where FH and I went to dinner the night we got engaged.

Wantagh Inn is a good one - I love it there, although I don't think I would ever get FH to go home, and considering it would be the night before our wedding LOL. . .

I have been to the BullDog a few times and the food was always good...and the party room is not in the basement...

Have you ever been to Hudson's Mill or Butera's both on Merrick Road in Massapequa. The food and atmosphere at both are really nice. There is also Il Classico on Merrick Road, asl well, fabulous food. Good Luck! Katiesmom

i went to a baby shower at katie dalys about a year ago and it wasn't in the basement...we walked in went past the bar and then there were doors to the party room.

it was very nice and the food was great...that was my first time there but alot of ppl there were from massapequa and they were all commenting on the fact that they all hadnt been there in a while and how they had just redone the place
