Any recommendations for a place for a rehearsal/welcome dinner on a Friday night? We are staying at the Courtyard Marriott at Republic Airport and I want something near by. 56th Fight Group is a little too close to wedding food. Looking for something maybe a little different, but not too expensive... any suggestions?

Kodiak's is a pretty cool new place. I'm not sure what they do for dinner parties, but it may be worth looking into.

I love the Library!! Growing up over there, the Library was always one of my favorite places to go. They have a little room upstairs for parties on the bigger side. I'm just not sure how big. Definitely worth checking out

While I love the Library as well, the upstairs isn't too large if you're having a big RD. We had our work Christmas Party there a few years ago and it was CRAMPED with about 50 people. Obviously, it depends on the number of people you're having at your RD.

We're having our RD there (on a thursday) and we are 70 people...we have the entire dining room and part of the bar...
I think they said the upper room max's out at 40-45? don't quote me on that though.
Food/Service/Ambiance is amazing there! I love them!

I went to one at Papa Joe's in Deer Park. The food was fantastic, and they did a really great job! It's on Commack Road.

We used that hotel, and had our RD at Palmer's, and it was FABULOUS! The food was great, the staff was so attentive, I would highly recommend them.
