Our RD is more of a dinner/drinks type thing for anyone in our room block who's staying the night before the wedding. Do we send out invitations for that or just spread the word? If we do send out invitations, do we have response cards for that as well? It's just a buffet with open bar so I don't know how to handle this. Thanks!

Re: RD invitations?
I am most likely just going to do an e-vite. Because I'm lazy and everyone already knows about it anyway.

Re: RD invitations?
I would send something out and just have RSVP on the invitations I don't think you need response cards.

Re: RD invitations?
We sent out an intivation- with a cutsey little poem:
Before Amy and Dek can walk down the aisle, We must get together for a quick wedding trial! On October 24th at 7:30 on the dot, Let's meet at the church where we'll soon tie the knot! After the practice, when all's said and done, Please join us for dinner, drinks & some fun!
Then we just listed the church and restaurant and put direction cards with a request to RSVP. very informal, but everyone seemed to like them :)

We didn't have response cards, just my mom's phone number and email address.

I am thinking about sending e-invites as well...its in the budget and people can respond that way. if you have people who aren't into computing and don't check their email, then you could call them as well as send the e-invite but I know that some e-invites have rsvp links that people click on

Re: RD invitations?
Casual invite or e-vites work great. No need to stress...
BTW..that cute poem is really great.

Re: RD invitations?
We're going to do invites; I think it's better for people to have a physical copy of information.

Re: RD invitations?
I'd do a printed invitation. RSVP by phone to the host.
