RD invite wording--which is the best way to put this?

RD invite wording--which is the best way to put this?

ok so FH's parents cant afford to throw us a rehearsal dinner. So FH and I are doing it ourselves.

i want to note that we are hosting the party on the invite but i dont want to make it SOO obvious that it kind of rubs it in FMIL/FFIL's face.

please give me some suggestions!

I love the wording that you used- jmo but I would just leave it as 'Rsvp to ....' and take out the host and hostess part- its probably not important to say who the host is- unless you and your fh feel strongly about it

yeah i wasnt sure? but youre right i dont think it needs it
