RD locations in Hauppauge

We are getting married at the Hamlet WW in Hauppaguge and most of are guests will be staying next door at the Wyndham WW, although some might also be at the Marriott Islandia. I am looking for locations for the RD near there. We are looking for something more on the casual side, where we can mingle. Alot of our guests have not seen each other (or us, for that matter) in a while and we wanted it to be a fun, relaxing atmosphere. We were thinking something along the lines of either at a restuarant and doing a buffet, or even renting out a nice bar. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I Love Brennan's! Great food! Just don't hold your RD on a Thurs, Fri or Sat night....Very Noisy there!

My brother and his wife had their 'RD' at Pomodorinos. It was very nice inside.

Polini's is great! We love their food! There's also Sweetwaters, on 111.

Pace's Steakhouse on 347 is great... I'm not sure if they have a separate room though. How about the Bonwit Inn in Commack, it's pretty close by?

Polino's os OK - not great but good. I have also had good and bad experiences at Sweetwaters. I live in the area so I have gone to both restaurants a few times. Casa Rustica is an amazing Italian restaurant in Smithtown on Rt25/Main St. We had my FMIL 50th bday party there and it was fantastic. Good luck !

You can try La Famiglia in Smithtown - its family style and the food is awesome.

If you wanted something different and a bit more 'fun' you can go to Gasho of Japan in Hauppauge...they cook right on the table and its a blast, might be a good way to start the partying early

The Bonwit Inn in Commack is nice too - their food is excellent and they have private rooms.

I love Gasho - that is one of me and my fh's favorite places.From the menu the dinners range from $13 - $30 but everything is included (soup, salad, entree, rice, ect,). Im sure they have a fixed per person rate for parties!
