RD Locations In Nassau?????

I need a good place, that's handicapped accessible, preferably Italian food & nearby to the Fox Hollow, oh & that doesn't charge TONS per person...

Tall order - I know...but I don't know Nassau County all that well, me being a Suffolk Gal and all!

I used to work in Mineola and I can't remember, for the life of me, the three restaurants we used to go to for everyones birthdays and such......I will try to remember and let you know later on! The italian place was right accross from the mall (or pretty darn close) there is a chinese restaurant (i think it is the first of 2nd ight after the court house (however there is two and the good one is on the left side of the road) THe third is a german restaurant that we all loved, but it was right near the train tracks....we used to laugh cause it was kind of like living ina mary poppins house when the posts everyone scene when they would shout the cannons....food was great, but propbably not the best option for a RD......i understand I jsut blabbed on and on here and probably didn't give you anything close to the answer you were looking for so I will shut up now : )

OOOoooooooo - so many good ideas!!! I will have to check them all out!!

I was also thinking Vincents Clam Bar - near the mall....but wasn't sure of pricing...

Anyone else??

Is that $30pp in addition to the $20pp for unlimited wine/beer or does it become $30pp instead of $20pp. Sorry, my brain is only half functioning today

I was thinking of having mine at Jackie Reilly's in Levittown/Bethpage it's about 20 minutes from Fox Hollow, but it's pretty much a straight shot down RT 135. For the buffett dinner is was $20 a person with a minimum of 25 people. There is a flat $30 for unlimited beer/wine/soda and for another $40 you can add unlimited liquor too and I'm pretty sure that price includes tax and gratuity. If you're in the neighborhood stop in, they set it up cute for dinners.

that extra fee for alcohol is a flat fee?? or per person? pp. would make the bill pretty high but a flat fee sounds wonderful!

I don't know a lot of places right around the Fox Hollow off hand, BUT I work about three minutes away and for you, I would definitely drive around during a lunch hour scouting. Sounds good?

I suggest La Famiglia on Old Country Rd in Plainview it is family style though...

and Cafe Testarossa on Jericho Turnpike in Syosset ( this is where we are having our eparty)...its is right down the block from the fox hollow!

You wont be able to talk there I think...it gets really loud and crowded...JMO

Aw, you are a million points of awesomeness

I'm still trying to work out the moving...I contacted the Irish embassy and they said my passport would be ready in November latest, so I guess I could move after that!

And I am totally driving around on Tues--I usually call the FH then, but since he'll be in a plane flying over here, I'm all yours!

Here's a totally fun problem now that i'm having now...

Places do not like doing a RD on a SATURDAY NIGHT.....even though it's January...
