For the RD is everyone inviting OOT guest? I originally planned on only BP and people involved in the ceremony and guest which would be around 40 people. If we do OOT guest it would be over 100 people and we would defiantely not be able to do it at the westbury manor as we are planning. What is everyone doing??I need to decide! grr

Re: RD-- OOT guest?
The only OOT guests we'll invite will be my uncle and his family because they are coming from Colorado and we don't get to see them a lot. They will probably be in a hotel the whole trip so they don't have much to do anyway.. the rest of the OOT guests are in driving distance so who knows if they'll be there by then.. Others are staying with family members who aren't invited to the RD anyway
Maybe try to restrict it to close family like aunts and uncles, or none of them at all if there are too many

Re: RD-- OOT guest?
We invited evetryone staying at the hotel on Friday night.
We did NOT have a RD, but a celebratory dinner for everyone staying at the hotel.
It was about 35 people.

same here without the close close family (I am half Italian, 'nuff said haha) - although only added one extra couple because they are my second set of parents. It would have gotten a little rediculous to invite all of our OOT guests as we had a lot.

We are inviting anyone who is staying in the hotels the night before the wedding...we didn't feel it was right to have them come all the way out east (or from out of state) AND tell them that dinner was on their own.

We are inviting:
BP (with dates) Readers (with dates) Close Family OOT (which is pretty much FH's family coming in from England/Ireland) DOC (with date) Priest (if he wants to go)

Re: RD-- OOT guest?
we are just doing the BP with dates, the officiant and close family. Luckily we have small families. It will be about 30 people. I've found in talking to people from OOT that they are excited to have the night to go explore in the city and around LI and not have to go to a planned dinner

We are having our OOT guests... But in you case I might just limit it to close family--- 100+ is crazy!

Re: RD-- OOT guest?
you guys are so nice. I'm not doing a RD. we're getting married at the Rh and none of my guests, with the exception of my grandmother from Cali and my best friend from Boston are really OOT people. My FMIL will undoubtedly invite 8 million people from panama but I dont know them and she's on her own w them.
