My fi and I are getting married at the community church of East Williston. I'm trying to think of places in the area that would be suitable for a rehearsal dinner. I'd like to stay under $40pp.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I haven't priced these places for RD's, but have you tried Jonathan's, Churrascaria Barraida, Mim's or Il Sapore?

Jonathans and il sapore is nice and good food.
What about Umbertos in New Hyde Park -- 5-10 minutes west of east williston, but great food and prices!

I've been there quite a few times for dinner, but wondering how it would be. I believe they have private rooms upstairs.

what is that place on the corner of jericho turnpike and glen cove road - there is a starbucks there too, used to be papa razzi, but they changed the name.

I think La marmite is delicious, but isn't it rather expensive?

MY FSIL and FBIL had there's at La Marmite and we go there all the time for dinner....Love that restaraunt! It is a perfect place for an elegeant RD!

We got married at comm church of e.williston and had our rehearsal dinner at papa razzi (on jericho near Westbury Manor) The food was great.

We had our rehearsal dinner at the Davenport Press and it was fantastic. We spent more than $40. per person, but chose a very extensive menu and open bar, I remember they did have packages for under $40. They also have two private rooms.

I just called La Marmite and they gave me an insane price of $73pp with liquor. Could this be right? The guy I spoke to didn't seem to know what I wast talking about. He said the person who normally handles this was not there. Anyone have any ideas about pricing?

Jonathan's is a bit more than 40 pp, we are having it at the Ivy Cottage, you can talk to the chef about coming up with a menu that fits your budget. They are really great! and the food is yummy!
