every rehearsal I've been to had soft drinks included, with coffee or tea, and a cash bar.

I don't think it's tacky at all.

My MIL had pitchers of beer at our RD but anyone who wanted liquor had no problem paying for it themselves, and most people who drank beer offered to pay for that as well.

I'm pretty sure it's typical just beer & wine. We're doing it at our house so we'll have everything out.

we did beer/wine. We didn't feel like the open bar would be worth it since most people wern't going to be drinking a lot anyway.

i answered wrong, as if it were the wedding

we're doing soda and running a tab for the liquor (which we will pay for). the guy actually said this would be cheaper, especially since 1. it's the night before the wedding and 2. people aren't really big drinkers on either of our sides. It was $9 more a person to add alcohol; we didn't think it was worth it.

We are have soda/wine included in our package and then FH's dad is running a tab at the bar for everything else.

we're having it catered at FH house.. we might have a few bottles of liquor, but im not going to encourage it.. def. dont want ppl trashed the night before

we are running a tab since we cant get an alcohol tab included - hope everyone isnt planning on drinking a lot!!!

We're going to include beer and wine, but run a tab for liquor drinks which we will pay for. Not many of our friends and family drink liquor, mostly beer, so this will work fine.

We're doing a bar tab. Anyone can order what they like and we will pay afterwards for it. SOme people drink, some don't- don't want to pay for the extra cost for people who don't, and since my wedding is at 11AM the next day...don't need people hung over at my wedding lol...
