RD question

FH's parents are paying for our RD (which was a total surprise and is very much appreciated). Here's the question: did they consult you about the menu?

I'm kinda annoyed that FMIL booked the RD and already picked the menu (down to the cake) without asking me, but I really don't know if that's the norm.

Am I out of line for being ticked?

Oh...FMIL tried to pull this that we had no say when/where/and what we ate since she was paying...FH and I were SOOOO not with that so I told her that we wanted to do it the Sat. before our wedding and we gave her 3 choices (varied price ranges) of places that we would like.....then I had to tell her to choose ASAP because she is such a procrastinator (i love her ot death) and that I needed to know so I could get the invites out!

I would be mad!

i actually picked the place and were picking the menu lol. im sure urs will be great regardless though!

FMIL is paying so she picked out our location and menu. I would love to have been given the choice but I didn't think that it was worth a fight. I am sure it will be lovely as will yours.
