I said yes bc I will be inviting mine since they are from oot. I do have a grandma here though and I was not planning on inviting her bc I knew it would've been hard for her since my grandpa was sick. Now that he has passed I will invite her.

It's up to you, but why wouldn't you want them there?
I only have one grandparent left and he and his girlfriend were at the RD, walked down the aisle, and were introduced at the reception. Every day I miss my other grandparents and wish they could've been there at our wedding. DH's 2 living grandparents couldn't come because his grandfather has been sick and they couldn't make the drive from VA.
My grandmother died last February just a few months before our wedding. The day before she died we were talking and chatting up a storm in the hospital as though nothing were wrong. She said to me 'I'll be at your wedding whether you invite me or not!' which I thought was a really odd thing to say... but she knew.
Invite your grandparents to your RD.

So then I guess I will since that was an over wheming Yes!
The only reason I asked is because my grandma and grandfather are divorced. When they got divorced he basically bounced on my mom, aunt, and uncles. He then went and got remarried, had another daughter and was totally in her life. Then, years later, can and decided to be a part of my families life. He's been in and out of my life, but was never a big part of it. On the other hand my grandma helped raise me practically. There's no bad blood per say, but I just don't picture him walking down the isle! But I guess he will, so as not to be rude.
