FSIL's RD was just everyone sitting down for dinner. At the end they gave a little speech thanking everyone for their support and $$ and gave out gifts!
Oh it's sooo fun! For ours we met at the church had a rehearsal which is always fun to be with everyone involved in teh wedding. Then we went to dinner...mainly everyone sat and talked and wandered from table to table. We gave the gifts to our BP and our parents. We made a small speech thanking everyone. I wish we said a little more. I know someone who had their bridal party say something little about them...I would've liked to have done that looking back. But its such a fun night and a start to fun wedding stuff!!!
I'm excited for the church rehersal!!! Do they make you pratice the vows or anything like that? Do they do it like I would walk with my father down the asile tonight? I should bring my camera!!
Yes I walked down the aisle with my dad...we had the musicians there too to practice. We had a greek ceremony (very long w/ no vows) so we didn't practice that..my friend had a catholic ceremony and they did practice that...I was like wow are they married?? It gets so real when you practice in the church!
