We always said we would do a donation favor....but as we discuss the final budget (we are literally $500 under right now!) we have a thought.
We had decided that ONLY people in the wedding would be invited to the RD. The ushers , the readers, and our immediate family.
We were talking about inviting the grandparents and our other aunts and uncles, and paying for them with the favor fund.
Would people even notice if we didn't do favors?

Re: RD vs Favors?
i would rather have my family around for that special night, then some favor that is not going to be taken. or thrown away when they get home.
I have a handful of favors out of all the weddins we have been to (15!) most did donations, or edibles. But that being said its more justifiable to have your family around, ESPECIALLY granparents, etc. because its not just about the rehearsal its about that special sharing with everyone how they have been there to support you and your FH and just the love that goes on that night is amazing and you will want your family there

Re: RD vs Favors?
I doubt that any one would notice no favors! And if they did, too bad. Its more important for you to have your family and friends surrounding you the day before the wedding!!!

Re: RD vs Favors?
You guys are right.
We might end up still doing the donation if we come in under budget.
I honestly think noone will even notice...and if they do, who cares?
