re:Bands-do you have'Live Continous......
Is your band providing 'Live Continuous Music' at your wedding. What does this mean to YOUR specific wedding? How is it written into the contract? If you do not have L.C.M. what is going to happen during meals and other breaks.Did you get specifics in the contract?I would love to know as much detail as possible.
Thanks.

Re: re:Bands-do you have'Live Continous......
We had live continuous, and that meant no taped music during the breaks. During the breaks (during the main course etc..) 2 musicians played...kind of like cocktail hour music. They'll usually just play a selection of cd's..background music/slow songs/standards if you don't choose the live option. Make sure it says in your contract that there will not be dead silence during the breaks however...

Re: re:Bands-do you have'Live Continous......
Our band members took turns eating while dinner was served, so there was always at least one or two people still playing. For example, keyboards and a singer. Or a sax solo. We had a 9 piece band and they all sang, so there was a lot of flexibility on what they could do.

Our band takes 1 dinner break. During that time they play background dinner cd music. Maybe I have the only band that takes a break.

Mine will be similar to what Lisa said. It states it in the contract.

Like some of the other girls said, you have to make sure it says specifically in your contract. Some bands may say 'continuous music' but it wont be live. Ours had continuous LIVE music, and while some of the band members ate, two to three other members stayed up and played instrumental stuff. Personally, I think if you are paying for live music for 4 or 5 hours, it should stay live, regardless of meals, breaks etc. Just make sure you read your contract!!!Welcome New Vendors
