Yes but even if you don't get on all fours, don't you have to lift your leg basically over your head while lying down?

Sorry, only one person on earth has seen me in that position and I plan on having it stay that way.

Ever since this topic first came up, I've been contemplating biting the bullet and going for it.

So yesterday I had my eyebrows waxed for the first time in months, and with each rip I pictured it was my hoohoo. No way, man, NO WAY!!!!!!! You girls are of a much stronger breed than I! LOL

I never have gotten on all fours, you just kind of have to hold your knees to your chest - which I think is better than all fours.
It's not so bad - I figure child birth will be a breeze by the time I get there after going through all this!

Umm do you wear undies during this process, or are you comando??

Re: Re.. brazilion wax

Depends on the place. At Bliss, they give you a paper thong though I really don't see the point, it's shoved all to one side for most of it so its not really 'covering' anything.

At J. Sisters, where I used to go it was totally commando.

Honestly, as bad as it sounds (and it IS as painful as it sounds the first time, not so bad subsequent times) once you do it you will do it again and again. It makes me feel very clean.

Wish me luck -- I'm going tomorrow for the first time!!!

Re: Re.. brazilion wax

Good luck, Suz - it's not so bad - okay I'm lying. But it's over pretty quick and after the first time it gets much much easier.

Suz let us know your experience.
I am going next week w/ the other girls. Scared as can be. I always wanted to try and I always say you really can't give your opinion on something unless you experience it for yourself so I will try it. I guess it isn't that bad if people keep going back, no?

Wanda: i was talking to one of my friends and we were talking about the brazilian wax and I said to her 'well me and the girls are going next week and having a wax' she was like ok you spend way too much time on the boards

definatly scared but if figure if i drink wine all morning i'll have a little buzz and may not feel it

though today i did get my eyebrows waxed and kept thinking yup next week brazilian wax.

Re: Re.. brazilion wax

LOL Melissa.
I have done the eye brow waxing thing and if the b wax is the same type of feeling, it won't be so bad. But we will see come Saturday!!

Re: Re.. brazilion wax

Ok ladies - I'm back and it wasn't so bad! The anticipation was much worse than the actual waxing. It took about 15 minutes and it went very quickly. The woman who did the waxing was very professional and made me feel very comfortable. Whenever I jumped she made sure I was ok.

I think it really depends on where you go. And who does it. I wasn't even in that much pain afterwards.

Its definitely different than what I'm used to, but I'm glad I did it.

Suz glad to hear it wasn't as bad as it sounds. Where did you go and who did it for you?
