re: extensions

for those that are using clip-in extensions - are you using a full set or half set?????

If you dont mind - how much are you paying for?

Re: re: extensions

for the trial she used the whole set and it was A LOT for me - since the style i am most likely doing is all to one side i'll probably use only half a set or less....

full set-well im guessing its full set bc it was ALOT of hair hahaha. I have very thin hair though so thats why

Re: re: extensions

I'm also using a full set because my hair style is all down. I think if I were putting any of it up I would use less than a full set.

Can I ask you girls what a full set costs? Just an estimate would be great.

Re: re: extensions

That is pretty nice to have it included!!! I was leaning towards using maximus in the Source Mall just b/c I though being in a salon would keep me calm but I recently heard the extensions have to be purchased and brought there - not sure if it is true but that might lead me to go the in-home route!!!

I just dont know what to do with my 8 girls then-lol!

yeah she charges more than others to do hair but if you do get extensions it really does work out

well most of these hair vendors do your bp too infact most of them require a minimum of girls in order to even book them. Yeah ive heard of some places saying you have to use their extensions. One place i went to this girl asked about the extensions and real hair and it was $1200 but most are in the low hundreds if you buy it at a store or something

I am being charged $300 for a full set - which I THINKKKKK is the average, but please girls let me know otherwise.

There's a beauty supply store in Levittown (same shopping center as Kohls) that sells extensions that are around $100, but I'm not sure if it is a full set or half set. My cousin got them there for her prom and they looked perfect.

I def. have to think about this more (I want BIG hair so I 100% need extensions). Btwn my family and the BP we have 14-15 girls who want hair done. I am afraid of having a madhouse at my mom's house where I am getting ready as it is not a big place. If I go the home route I guess they would do me and my family there but to have 15 people I am afraid I will stress out. Humm - guess I have time but I really need to think about this.

yeah figure out what will work best for you. Also see if the salon can accomodate 15 girls. Although 15 girls might be a bit much for one hair vendor to do at home. My hair and make up artists said they do up to 10 girls

Re: re: extensions

I just bought a clip in 100% human hair set from Sally Beauty Supply...it cost me 89.99. I'm a licensed esthetician so I signed up for a sally card and got 10 bucks off. If you do buy them yourself make sure you get the human hair, that way you can bring them to your hair dresser and have them dyed to match you hair.
