things went ALOT better than i thought they were going to. he just doesnt want me to rush into it and he says im going to be changing alot in the next few years so theres no need to get married now. he doesnt want me to make a mistake and all that fatherly stuff..... as for meeting Kevin (my FH) he said he will see what he can do to psyche himself up for that, but thats going to take time. he did say do whatever i want. i am alittle happy about that. but he said he wanted to walk me down the aisle.. and not at a vegas weddin. i told him a few years down the line hopefully things would be less awkward and i will have more $$$ and that 'big' wedding with all the family CAN happen.

I'm glad to hear it went well. You are a very mature 20 year old (not trying to sound condescending, but when I was 20 I did not have the maturity to talk openly like that!) - good for you for talking honestly about it with him...

you guys helped me build up my confidence to do it! even my mom was like 'woah! i didnt hear him yelling!' I know we have alot to work on and its not going to happen overnight, but at least its not like a taboo anymore! thanks again!
