I met with Lia at Imagine Studios. She was great and her work is amazing. MY fi and I want to book them but I was just wondering if anyone had experience with them? Their prices seemed reasonable. Are they flexible and negotiable with their prices? Any feedback would be great!

I looked into booking Nelson for video which I thought would definitely be a good choice but he said he only prefers to work with his wife and I already had a photographer. At that point he said well I can do your video than if you already have a photographer but at that point I was too nervous. He said he works better with Lia and photographers and videographers personalities clash etc. so I thought I should go with someone else.

Carolyn, we are using Imagine for both our photo and video. We loved their work. They are very reasonable and flexible with thier packages. We had our engagement shoot and are very pleased with the results. Lia is a pleasure to work with. We will enjoy having them around all day.

Fran, Did you have to pay extra for the engagement picture? I noticed that one of the packacges included it but the one I was looking at did not. Also, did you negotiate with Lia to get any 'extras' such as more thank-you cards or an extra picture. Have you been to other photographers? Did you use other photogrpahers packages as a bargaining tool? Any info you have would be greatly appreciated. We really loved their work but just want to make sure! Thanks for your help!

we are also using imagine photography for our wedding. I asked Nelson for a price adjustment with the package but it really did not work out to be any different in price. I got the feeling that there really is no flexibility with the pricing. I'm only using both of them because i liked Lia when i met her, but a little disconcerning was the fact that she did not come out to say hello when i went over to drop off the retainer check, i knew she was home i spoke with her that day before going over.. I'm hopeful that it will work out.

Every photographer we saw had packages that included items that we really didn't want. So we sat down and decided exactly what we wanted to purchase. Engagement shoot, the number of pages in our album, what we wanted in the video etc. Then I called the two phtotographers we were considering for a price on 'our package' and let them each know we were getting quotes from more than one photographer. Lia and Nelson were more than happy to work with us this way. One of the things we like about her pricing is the way she counts out your album - she counts Pages not Pictures (2 pictures on one page still counts as one page) and the number of black and white photos in the album is unlimited. We feel very comfortable with our choice, especially after receiving our engagement proofs. Happy Planning

I tried to set up an appointment with them several times and they lost it both occassions. While their work may be good - I felt very uncomfortable relying on them when they couldn't even get my appointment correct. They may be great - just wanted to warn anyone out there that they are disorganized.
