Every photographer we saw had packages that included items that we really didn't want. So we sat down and decided exactly what we wanted to purchase. Engagement shoot, the number of pages in our album, what we wanted in the video etc. Then I called the two phtotographers we were considering for a price on 'our package' and let them each know we were getting quotes from more than one photographer.
Lia and Nelson were more than happy to work with us this way. One of the things we like about her pricing is the way she counts out your album - she counts Pages not Pictures (2 pictures on one page still counts as one page) and the number of black and white photos in the album is unlimited.
We feel very comfortable with our choice, especially after receiving our engagement proofs.
