Re:Limos

Hi, I was wondering what everyone is doing as far as limos goes. I was thinking about just getting a limo for me and my bridal party...but since u have to rent it for like 3 hrs..I figured it could pick me and the bridal party up then go and pick up my fiance. But I was unsure if my parents should get a limo and if his parents should get a limo..because it will be pricey....then if we get limos for everyone to get to the wedding..we need to get limos for them to come home...whats everyone's opinion. The way I see it is...I would have the limo pick myself and the bridal party up..then pick up my fiance..and have our parents take there cars there...this way they can drive us to the hotel by LaGuardia..later on that night..the wedding is on a Sunday at noon. Plus I figured by having one set of parents drive us..we can take our time after the wedding is over gathering everything up..if we booked a limo.I wouldn't know what time to tell them. This is very confusing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Allison

This is what I'm doing... I got 2 limo's. One for my bridal party and one for me and my father. The one for my bridal party will be picking up my FI and groomsmen - dropping them off at the church and then picking up my bridesmaids. Then the limo's take my parents and bridal party and myself to the reception. (my parents are dropping a car off ahead of time). His parents will probably stay with their car since they don't live in the same state. The limo place also offered a town car - for me and my FI for after the wedding - no charge. Just tip. You should talk to a limo place - let them figure it out! They do this stuff everyday. I'm using ALL STAR. They were helpful so far.

What is All-Star charging for both, including all tax &grat? *NM*

Allison, First, double check with your church when they want the guys there. Most churches want the guys there first. Our church asks that the guys and girls be there a 1/2 hour before. We are getting two limos. We will have the stretch limo pick up the girls from my parents` house then get the guys from our house, then have them dropped off at the church. Our other limo will take my father and I to the church a little after that. From the ceremony to the reception, the parents will use their own cars, or be driven by other family members. We will definitely have enough people at the reception to give us a ride back home, or if we choose, we might just have a towncar take us back home. We haven`t decided on this yet. We`re using Royalty Limos in Franklin Square. We know several people who have used them and loved them, plus they have received good reviews from people here too. http://www.royaltylimo.com We looked into All Star, but gave up on them when they gave us the run-around for several weeks when we were trying to see their Rolls Royce. We just wouldn`t have felt comfortable with them. But, that`s not to say they don`t do good work. We just didn`t hit it off with them.
