I thought he was pretty good. He made a few jokes that got everyone to laugh and stay paying attention. I also liked a lot of the things he was saying about relationships and love. I actually sat at his table for Cocktail hour and he was VERY nice! He invited me over when he saw FH and I looking for seats.

His name was Captain Arnold and here's what it says on his business card:

It was Captain Arnold, we all got coupons for using him so if you decide to make sure you get that from someone who isnt using him first. He was good, it was a bit of a sales bit that day but hey he was trying to sell himself.

FH and I were excited to see him since we want to be married by a Captain. He talked alot, a little more then I would want for our ceremony (which I basically have written already) but like JKFris said, I think it was partially because it was a sales pitch. He has a lot of great reviews on here.

I thought he was a cute old man lol. I thought he talked to long but like others said it was a sales pitch.

I think that if you told him what you wanted he would stick to it. Afterall you are paying him to be there.

I thought he did a great job and said a lot of great things about what marriage should be etc. He did the hands ceremony because I requested it and he was always very friendly. Remember that all of the vendors were there hoping to get new business, so the whole 'sales pitch' thing is not a negative. About the expired coupon, I wonder if he meant for it to expire in a year and they had 08 on there by mistake instead of 09? If not, he still did a great job and DH & I got to renew our vows!
