RE-Post: David's Bridal

Is it possible to purchase a bridal gown from David's Bridal and take it home the same day?

I'm having second thoughts about my dress...my wedding is in 6 weeks...

from what I understand, granted the dress is in good condition and fits...you can take it the same day.....the only dress they said you can't take off the rack is oleg cassini (sp?)....HTH!

yes you can buy dresses right off of the rack. I bought my FG dress right off the rack because it was the right color and size

My dress came from David's. It needed hemming and a bustle, but I still had it back within 2 weeks, so even if you need alterations, you should still be fine.

oh no!!! I'm so sorry you feel this way! Your dress is amazing! You just have to have faith that your seamstress can make it work for you!! And pick the right undergarments! I bet you spanx would help!

Remember, this happened with Kristy (billandme)....she tried on her dream dress when it came in - not altered yet and she felt AWFUL. She immediately went out and bought two new dresses. Guess which one she ended up with? The original one! Once her seamstress made the changes, it made ALL the difference!

But if in your heart, you know this won't work...you go with your heart.

What's wrong with your dress? I think it's lovely. As someone said, did you try Spanx or a body shaper? You'd be amazed what they can do.

I keep thinking of BillandMe!!

I looooove my dress! I am just getting nervous that it is not going to flatter me in pics etc. I can't wear major undergarments with it because it is backless...

I just want to be prepared with a plan B...

(PS-Thanks Pencils!)
