Sorry I just had to tell someone!!!

We closed yesterday after being in contract since June

We wont move in until February or March but at least we own it now!!

We became homeowners and landlords in the same day and we are still tenants

I'm sorry I don't have any pics.

It's nothing spectacular. Just a 4 bedroom ranch in Commack.

I cant wait to get out of our crappy apartment! I cant stand the people living downstairs!!!

Congrats!! I love being homeowners. Makes life a hell of a lot easier. We were tennants at one time also. As well as the people that were living upstairs. And they were the largest pile of white trash I have ever incountered. Nothing like 3 feet of snow outside and no heat because they decided not to get an oil delivery!!

Tell me about it! Saturday FH and I spent 3 hours at Home Depot just picking out fixtures (faucets and such)!!!!!!

I'm fortunate to have a Home Depot about 4 blocks from my house so those last minute 'we need more paint, tape, sandpaper, nail etc.etc.etc. Trips we at least only take a minute.
