Any ideas except the obvious?
The two brick walls that will be put up will be time and money (what else?)
Been to Mexico and although that's a less expensive option, we did that last year.

Maybe if you come up w/ some great deals and places you could visit for just a few days vs. a week or more, your DH would be more willing to go.
how about St. Lucia? Its supposed to be gorgeous there!
Jamaica- my cousin went to San Soucis for his HM and raved about it. I know he didnt spend alot of $$ either.
Ive seen girls post pretty reasonable pricing for Hawaii too. You could go for like 5 days and still get a good trip out it IMO.
ETA my friend went to the Dominican Republic and had a great time and found a great deal at an all inclusive resort.

I dont know about yours, but my FH LOVES to gamble. We have decided on Aruba so that I can get the beach and he can get the Casinos. Its a fair deal IMO.

ARUBA!!!! Best vacation FH and I have ever had. Beach, pool, sun during the day.... great nightlife.... casinos
