When arranging who sits at what table do you include the dj's? I ask because most of the night they will be at the booth. Do they sit down to eat? I know the photographers and videographers will sit at a table to eat.

I think that the hall has little tables in the back or kitchen for them. They don't sit with your guests.

I was doing the seating chart and I put the Photographers in tables that needed two more people. I thought that photographers had to be mixed in.

Are you putting them with actual guests??? I am putting them at a table in the back...with no centerpiece! They are vendors not guests.

No the catering halls usually make a table for all your vendors and your maitre De takes care of everything....

No, they are not seated with the guests.
The wedding I went to, I saw the vendors eating in the room that had the cocktail hour.

vendors should NOT be sitting with guests. not unless they want to give you a nice fat check for your wedding...

the hall will take care of them.

I would call your hall and ask what they typically do.

You could put all the vendors (video, photographer, etc) at one small table. I wouldn't put them with guests, because it would be disruptive to the table and might make your photographer feel a bit awkward.

My photographer ate at the bar (this was a true bar with stools) though there were plenty of other places for him to sit.

At my sisters wedding they set up a table just outside the doors for the band and the photographers/videagraphers-we had enough favors and centerpieces for thier table as well though, so we had the hall set thier table up just like the other guests-it looked pretty, and they liked that they got favors....

I have no idea where my vendors ate (there were only 2 of them) but it was not with my guests. I assume they ate in the room where the CH was (I was in the Contessa Room and my CH was in the Afterdeck room)

You do not have to include vendors in the seating chart at all.

My DJs did not sit and my photographers and videographer ate their dinner in the CH room because no one was in there anymore.

they should not be sitting with your guests... unless you have some reason for wanting them to be -- like one of them is a family friend. otherwise, they are seated elsewhere by the MD and usually in another room.
