Didn't have to pay for the sample but to take it home most places charged you - I got lucky and didn't have to.

I didn't pay for a sample nor did I take it home. Our florist was Flowers by Brian.
I did have a friend who did take her samples home, but I don't know if she paid for them. I can ask.

I was thinking the same thing. With all the money we spend on flowers, why can't I take my sample home to admire it...oh wait I know...b/c my day of CP's looked nothing like my sample.

FBB leaves them up so when potential clients come in they can see what their work looks like.

Re: Re: your flower samples

Hi Mary, we did not take home the samples from Peter and Nina's wedding and neither did Michael and Rosanna. Our florist made up the samples the Saturday before the weddings and any changes that were wanted he did right then and there. I am sure they include samples in the price. June Florist in Brooklyn does amazing work, they are a little local florist that has been in the same location for about 30 years or more. It was started by Jimmy's parents (or grandparents) and now he runs the shop. They are always busy.

I think they like to keep them in their show room so when other brides come in they can see the florists work on display.
