to post a picture I right click on the picture in my aol pictures, go to properties copy the URL then i go back to word and try to find insert web image. All I can find is insert hyperlink I paste the url from the picture, but it does not post. What to do?

Under the icons, it has the add feature
click on insert web image and put the image location address in there.

you dont resize!
) Upload picture(s) into your photo album and go to the picture you'd like to include in your post or use a pic from snapfish, shutterfly, the internet, etc...: right click on the image, and select properties
2) Copy the HTML address of the image
3) Go to your post, and select 'Insert Web Image' from the box below the smiley faces. When asked for the HTML address, paste the address you just copied.
Voila...image is in your post, and you can upload more than four pictures at a time at any size and without multiple posting
