Re: reader gift .. help!
We have an 18 yr old male and an 18 yr old female....
We're doing a pandora charm for the girl (she already has a bracelet)
and an Apple Store GC for the male

Two ideas spring to mind:
1. What about a really nice bookmark? Like one from http://www.hookmarks.com/ or http://www.danforthpewter.com/personal-bookclips.html?
2. If the reading is from a book, maybe a nice copy of the book and/or a gift card to a bookstore?

I've been a reader in several weddings and never received a gift. I didn't even think twice about it. I think it's a nice gesture, but not entirely necessary.

these are great ideas! Thank you! I need to get a little something also! I think we are going to have 1 man and 1 women ~ we have not chosen our readers yet!

I think crosses are a good idea. Another idea would be a gift certificate for a manicure/pedicure for the girls and maybe an i-tunes gift card or Best Buy gift card for the guy. Hope this helps.

Ditto this. . . .we just gave our readers corsages or bouts and they were thrilled with that.

i got a personalized key chain from things remembered as a reader once...
i took that idea and picked up a cute funky key chain from white house black market...
