so FH randomly asked me about how we pick readers for the wedding. So i told him that he could pick a person and that i would pick a person. The next day he showed me a reading that he printed out and said that its the one that he wants whoever he picks to read! he searched online during his prep. how cute is he. he is really trying to get involved latley.
Aw thats cute!! My church gives us a list of passages that we have to pick from and thats is all we are allowed to have read...Your lucky you can have whatever passage you want! We are each picking a reader of our choice and thats how we are deciding that lol He is picking his uncle (probably) and i will be picking my best guy friend (bc i cant have him in the BP).
Question - do you have readers if you are not having a mass?
i don't know how it works in the church...FH and I are getting married at the RH. We are probably having readers...just not religious readings. We will pick 1-2 ppl who will read some type of poem or passage, etc that we pick.
That is really cute!! i don't think my fh does ANYTHING during prep nevermind wedding stuff! lol

the last two weddings i was at were not a mass but there were readers. i dont know how it works exactly tho.
we are also getting married at the RH so we didnt want very religious ones either. this site had some good ones for all types of ceremonies
