READINGS.......

FH and I are not sure who to ask to do our readings. Do they have to be catholic?? Also, can the readings be done by someone in our BP??

I would think they need to be catholic but im not positive, and yes in my church the bridal party is allowed to do readings. Give the church-rectory a call.

I don't think it matters if the readers are catholic. We plan to ask our godmother's and the third reader will probably be my cousin.

They do not need to be catholic and actually my first reader is jewish and the second is russian orthodox. . . and the wecond and third readers are ushers in the wedding
