I hate the snow too! I just went food shopping and bought some goodies incase we get snowed in for a while! THIS STINKS!
I hope this snow stops by my wedding in april! LOL

metro-weather channel is saying this is a storm of record breaking proportions!

FI is working today, but thank goodness we are both off tomorrow.

I am so lucky we live right across the street from the supermarket. yay

Our friends in Florida called us and told us how nice it is and I said the same thing Jenn said, I told them to shove it.

I HATE HATE HATE snow and cold. I'll take 80 degrees everyday. I cant wait till I am living in FL.

The DC report is that we've got about 10 inches so far (more in some areas) and it just keeps falling!! They are saying up to 24 inches now...up to 3 FEET in some places. Worst storm we've had since like 1922. YIKES!

I heard on the NY weather report its suppose to beat the 1996 blizzard.

I am so glad FI and I are both off tomorrow. He called me and told me that if its bad they are keeping everyone overnight because flights will be canceled. So far nothing and he gets off work at 11. He said tomorrow's crew will most likely be staying overnight

The supermarket is across the street from us and I went in before and it was mobbed. Shelves were bare and people were fighting and pushing. Thank goodness all i needed were a few small items.

I told everyone on the nwr board but nobody beleived me

Jodi: We are so stocked I think we can feed a small village. Every Saturday after WW FI and I hit BJ's, so we are so stocked with meats and chicken as well as canned goods.

Over the summer our supermarket was having sales of progresso soups practically every week(am I allowed to plug name brands ???) and they were 99 cents a can limit 8 cans. I am a huge soup fan especially that brand so 99 cents a can when they are normally 2.50 a can I felt like I was stealing them. So everyday I went in and bought the limit of 8 cans and I had FI go in with me and have him buy the limit of 8 cans and we would go on separate lines. I am not kidding when I tell you, I have literally over 100 cans of soup.

He was ready to shoot me when we had to stock all of them somewhere. I told him today so arent you glad we have all these soup cans because ya know we're going to have a huge blizzard and now we have so much soup to keep us warm and toasty.

He didnt find it as funny as I did

I HATE snow!! This is getting ridiculous. I live on a dead on block and they NEVER plow In 1996, we were stuck in our houses for 2 days and we (all of the people on the block) had to shovel the street to get out. It took hours. If we hadn't done that we would have been stuck in our houses for days!!!

We have had over a foot and a half today alone. It hasn't stopped and they don't expect it to stop until tomorrow afternoon. The cars in my development are completely covered. I hate being snowed in

so far it's been dusting of snow but nothing sticking.

I havent heard from Fi about whats going on with the airports. If flights start to get cancelded he'll have to stay overnight. yuck.

But I am hoping he gets out before the storm hits us.
